Queen Marrero, (M.S.A., Administration, and Leadership) is an alumnus of Georgia State University and a retired US Army Reserves Major. She has more than 26 years’ experience in grants and contracts administration. She currently serves as Project Coordinator and Research Administrator at Georgia State University, Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning in Atlanta, GA. She has also served as a Contract Procurement Officer for the US Army Reserves Headquarters Command in Fort Bragg, NC. She has secured and managed millions of dollars in grant and contract funding from federal, state, foundation and corporate organizations. An engaging motivational speaker and instructor. She teaches seminars and workshops on all aspects of business development and grants and contracts administration. She also offers consultation and assistance in business development, grant-research, proposal development, grant writing, and pre/ post-award management.
